The PIF has been launched!
We are very happy to announce the launch of the Privacy Icons Forum (PIF). The Forum is a collaboration between research projects and institutions that focus on data protection and the development, design and implementation of privacy icons.
The Founding Members of the Forum are Research Group 4 – Data as a Means of Payment – at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society in Berlin, the SnT – Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust at the University of Luxemburg, the CIRSFID at the University of Bologna, the Einstein Center Digital Future and the University of the Arts (UdK) in Berlin.
The aim of the PIF is to promote exchange, synergy and collaboration among projects, academics and professionals that research, develop and design solutions such as privacy icons for enhancing awareness to online privacy and data protection choices and risks.
The main instrument of the Forum is this website, which presents the projects of the Founding Members and offers a channel for exchange and collaboration among similar initiatives.
